This project will expand from the classrooms to conduct "Know Your Neighbor" events in each of the three communities. These will be awareness projects that educate people on knowing their neighbors and working together in changing community norms. People will be shown how they can empower each other to step forward with the message that they will not tolerate drug use in their neighborhoods and communities. This program will address issues specific to our area, provide updated drug and alcohol prevention materials, follow best proactice guidelines, and provide active incolvement between the facilitator, students, school, and neighborhoods.
